Training Opportunities

The Denton County HEART offers a variety of trainings designed to increase our readiness level to respond in an emergency situation. The 2010/2011 trainings are specifically designed with our Medical Reserve Corps, public health and emergency response partners, and our valued medical and mental health community, in mind.

Medical Reserve Corps Orientations are open to anyone interested in volunteering during an emergency. Medical Reserve Corps members can be medical or non-medical professionals with a heart for service. If you have attended an MRC Orientation, you do not need to attend another.

All courses will be offered free of charge, however, to get an accurate participation number, we do ask you to register for trainings you will be attending.

Please contact Betsy Haggard at 940-349-2922 or E-mail with any questions about the current Training Schedule.
